You deserve to be safe. We deserve to be safe.
National Home Security Month (NHSM) aims to create awareness around the importance of good home security, and how we can ensure our homes and families remain safe. It’s easy to implement safety in your home, and we’re here to help show you how.
While South Africans are innately aware of crime and the need for home security, it can be tough to find sound, clear advice on what you need, how to implement it, and where to look for assistance.
And often, because it seems like such a big (and often pricey) decision, implementing an effective security system is delayed until it becomes really urgent. This forum provides the advice you need.
We’ll be offering information and advice throughout the year, helping to protect the nation’s homes, families and possessions. The campaign is initiated and sponsored by security specialist ASSA ABLOY with its brands Yale, Union, Mul-T-Lock and ABLOY, but is open to all like-minded organisations, including businesses, charities, not-for-profit groups, as well as members of the general public.
Check our ‘Get involved’ page for more information on how you can take part and register your interest. In return, we’ll provide you with regular e-mail updates, as well as information and advice to help you maximise home security.
You can follow us on Facebook and Twitter for regular updates, security tips, advice and competitions – don’t forget to share any tips you may have on how to keep your home safe, and any other good news stories on foiling crime. After all, we’re all in this together.
