Security in South Africa should be seen as a team effort. Whether it’s sharing useful advice, creating awareness within our communities, or volunteering time to help our local community policing forum, we can all contribute in some way.
National Home Security Month is about each of us taking responsibility for home security, while helping those around us do the same. We have a range of security experts on board to call on for information and tips, but our collective effort will make all the difference. And while National Home Security month falls in June, every month we’ll work with you to improve safety in your home.

Home Security Month is keen to involve all community organisations that want to protect the vulnerable and improve their communities.
Any community groups, such as residents associations, support groups, counselling and trauma service providers, and community policing forums, are all welcome to get involved and help us make South Africa’s homes more secure.
